"The Family That Preys Together" By: Tom Alford
To know my family is to know that we are
outdoorsman. As Father’s Day is right around the corner and my wife is
due to give birth to our son I have been reflecting on growing up in a
family that is passionate about the outdoors. If I had to put our lives
in a category it would be (1) Faith (2) Family and (3) Hunting in that
order and I would be a liar if I told you that they never jockey for
position.

Dear Editor,
UNBELIEVABLE! Less than 12 hours after I posted the availability of
my lease, I had over 60 phone calls and nearly 70 emails. Needless
to say, we have leased the property. Please take it off the "market"
so that I can use my cell phone again. Thanks again!

it all turned out for Gayne.

Black Bears Are On The Move In Texas
TYLER, Texas — In the dim
light before dawn, it’s hard to tell what that dark
shape is under the feeder 100 yards from your hunting
blind. It’s probably a feral hog stealing corn you
bought for deer to supplement native forage. But make a
positive identification before you pull the trigger;
that hog-like shape could be a black bear.
