Black Bear Outfitters

Double “B” guide, Rob Bland, is a new outfitter in 2011 and I would like to offer a specialty hunt on just Black Bears. Personally, I have had a 100% success ratio over the past 8 years and offer my experience to guide other hunters for Black Bears.

I have over 35 years hunting experience with a specialty on Black Bears since 2003. My camp is located in Laggan, Pictou County, Nova Scotia with a very high population of Black Bears.

My camp borders on over 75 acres of blueberry fields offering any hunter a great opportunity at taking one of the most elusive wildlife animals in their own natural habitat.

There are also 2 small lakes within 2 kilometers (1.5 miles) of my camp which have an abundance of small brook trout. The season only allows for catch and release but you can still enjoy the fight of small brookies at the end of your line. Everything, including spinning rods and spinning tackle will be made available to enjoy your day (s) on the lake, including a traditional Nova Scotia shore lunch.

I can also offer a day trip of exploring the back woods of the surrounding area of my camp. This trip, on side by sides, can be very exhilarating as you never know what kind of wildlife will be on the trails.

I have stands available for both bow hunting and rifle. All bait sites are started well before the arrival of any clients. These stands are strategically placed on high ground with shots no further than 50 yards for rifle and 30 yards for bow.

Terms:

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. I accept Certified Cheque, Money Order, Email Money Transfer and/or cash. There will not be any refunds; however, in the event of a cancellation, deposits may be transferred to another individual to come on your hunt. In the event I have to cancel your trip you will receive a refund for any deposit or full paid trip.

Booking Information:

-Reservations are required and are confirmed upon receipt of non-refundable deposit.

-Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival

-There are no refunds if the client bags out early or leaves early

-Early departure and late arrival transportation is the responsibility of the client
